OmSacredSpace Story
Laura has tried many things the moment she got a chance. There were “normal” trials as well as… not that normal.
For example printing custom quotes in t-shirts and mugs. Writing children’s books. Giving classes as a music teacher from early fourteen. Things that get kind of boring with time, but you get the experience of it, along with the skills.
From the “not that normal” stuff, I can only share these few:
Spending hundreds of euros on a “special drug” with the purpose of reselling it (the delivery never made it home, thank God).
Flying to Albania for a “hostess” job to end up almost trafficked (and amazed at how Divinely she was protected).
Worked and wrote an article for an African based mafia (!? still processing)
Moving in with a man after 2 months of knowing him (and during Covid lockdown!).
Dropped out from everything she couldn’t vibe with (happened twice with the conservatory, that hole was too toxic!).
Whatever, you get the idea, her personality is the All IN type. And trust me, the craziest stuff she only shares from mouth :) one never knows…
Surprisingly, one adventure led to another and that’s how she ended up working at a small private music label. It was the first most satisfying job she tasted so far: fair pay and within her interested fields of music and writing. The problem? With a personality like hers, restrictions became opportunities for rebellion. Disapprovements became sparks of fights. With such a huge amount of energy, within a year working for this label, the boundaries became too narrow, and the lack of freedom led to an absolute boredom and disappointment on her end.
Obviously it didn’t last. Neither it ended well.
That’s when she flew to London to literally knock on doors hoping for a golden opportunity. She just got the “yes” a few months later, when she already changed her mind.
During those months of waiting for a one-in-a lifetime opportunity, Laura gave it a try to sound healing. She purchased the most expensive and probably least valuable course that there is out there (all taught material could be found on the Internet, before the AI boom!).
And somehow, from the workbook included in the course, she found a very interesting image that spiked her curiosity like never before.
A picture that promised the fulfillment of any of your desires: The Sri Yantra.
The sacred geometry that transforms your life just by looking at it.
How ironic is the fact that she got into the Divine of Sri Yantra with a promise that satisfied her short-term selfish desires of success.
But that’s the beauty of life. To have trust in surrendering and flowing.
The moment she locked her eyes in the central dot of the magical picture, a new dimension of reality opened up. A multiplier of different perspectives. A total expansion of awareness after hours of hypnosis.
That’s how OmSacredSpace was born: from a “simple” dot of a picture placed in the middle of geometries. The dot was the stillness of “the other side” and she was part of a play holding the connection from “this side”. The sacred space was the product of such magical interaction of energies. The engagement of duality, and soon later on, the mastery of it.
Sri Yantra changed Laura’s life by hanging her upside down and letting her have no other option but seeing things from a different perspective.
She had no studies, no job, no kids. She kept playing with instruments, experimenting with different sounds, and finding a way to trance and beyond. One step at a time, while keeping her one and only commitment: come back to the dot in the Sri Yantra every single day, no matter what.
Soon, Laura was so deep in meditation routines that it became a challenge to get further: to face her own mental limitations. And surprise, surprise… it never got boring! In fact, there is nothing more adventurous than jumping off the cliff of your mind's limitations into the dark depth of meditation!
Eventually, all the different aspects in her life started reflecting this committed work behind closed doors. The small sound baths at studios became workshop events in open spaces. The individual sound healing sessions started showing miracles. The lifelong shyness went away, opening her heart to the world wide open, and with that, relationships improved. Suddenly she became a person that not only dreams and plans, but also acts on it. And responsibility expanded beyond the “I”.
The journeys through duality and what lies beyond it, brought many gifts into her life, including the biggest ones so far: the expanded ability of vision, and the Divine Light.
OmSacredSpace is in constant development, with the current closest goal of holding a sanctuary physical place for a group of people. A retreat where a simple dot in Sri Yantra and a commitment to ourselves can change more lives for the better on this planet.
